This past week I traveled to San Francisco, CA for the SPIE 2017 Photonics West conference. It was a great week of meeting new people, learning new things, and being reminded why the optics industry is awesome. In my adventures around town, I discovered the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park and their gorgeous first order Fresnel lighthouse lens.
